We have been back in Bangor for four months now and despite it being a transition period, it has been mostly positive with lots of support in the local community, our church, family, and friends. We are humbled and grateful. We have enjoyed good weather and been out and about around the North of Ireland. We have enjoyed some time with family and friends and are starting to acclimatise to swimming in the Irish Sea again.

Gideon had a few weeks attending Ballyholme Primary School at the end of the summer which he absolutely loved. He told his teacher. “I  had no idea that schools could be so big!’

Meanwhile Dr James continues as acting Medical Director of Kiwoko Hospital. The Board and Bishop are keen for a Ugandan to take over the MD role but wish an overseas volunteer to help lead the finance and administration team.

Please continue to pray for a suitable volunteer.

Every Sunday has been a blessing, worshiping with old friends and enjoying their welcome and generosity.
